JUNTOS, in collaboration with Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Vibrant Health, Heart to Heart International, United Healthcare, Aetna, Kansas Civic Engagement Table and La Mega, hosted a vaccination event on Jan. 7, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The event was for under-served communities and 99% of attendees were Spanish speakers. The event provided COVID tests and vaccinations, flu shots, A1Cs and blood pressure checks, along with providing food to those in attendance.
