Institute for Advancing Medical Innovation (IAMI)

A specific resource for Frontiers’ investigators is the nationally known Institute for Advancing Medical Innovation (IAMI) at the University of Kansas, which focuses on translating laboratory and bedside discoveries into new therapeutic opportunities. IAMI’s mission is to discover and develop drug, diagnostic, and medical device technologies with a clear path to market. IAMI’s vision is to change the standard of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients suffering from diseases, including cancer and rare diseases, by bringing solutions to market. IAMI leadership and experience in accomplishing commercialization can help Frontiers’ investigators succeed in their specific areas of interest. With the help of a Frontiers’ navigator, investigators can access mentorship, business advice, and can apply for IAMI Trailblazer pilot funding for promising research.

Health Sciences Entrepreneurship (HSE) Grand Rounds Monthly Seminar Series

The HSE Entrepreneurial Grand Rounds seminar series is a collaboration between the University of Alabama Birmingham, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center
