First Frontiers Mock Study Section

Dec 05, 2022

A panel of local and national experts in clinical and translational research reviewed six grant applications on November 29 during the first Frontiers Mock Study Section. The mock study section is a new Frontiers program that simulates the NIH peer-review process and provides researchers with expert feedback on their in-progress grant applications.

This program aims to enhance the likelihood of funding success by providing early-career researchers with feedback to help them refine and improve their research plans. The next mock study section will be held in the spring of 2023. Program cycle dates will be announced in January.
