Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute and the University of Missouri - Kansas City are currently recruiting for the 2024-2026 cohort of their joint T32 Post-doctoral Fellowship in Cardiovascular Outcomes Research.
The program’s proven success is based on three synergistic components: education, mentorship, and hands-on research. The program is under the leadership of John Spertus, MD, MPH, Missouri/Lauer Endowed Chair, Professor at UMKC, and Clinical Director of Outcomes Research at the Mid America Heart Institute. Dr. Spertus has built a fellowship program that has earned a worldwide reputation for excellence in outcomes and health economics research. The center is supported by a large team of investigators and support staff resulting in a robust foundation for training. Fellows engage in hands-on research experiences and have access to highly experienced statisticians and numerous databases including multicenter outcome registries. The training program is designed for those who want to pursue an academic career focused on improving patient-centered cardiovascular care.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Pharm.D., etc.) in a health profession, or have an M.D. or D.O. and completed residency prior to July 1, 2024.
