'Why" Film

You’re invited to join us for a free screening of "Why," an Alzheimer's film event hosted by the Center for Clinical Research at KU School of Medicine-Wichita. “Why” addresses some of the barriers in recognizing and addressing early cognitive changes as well as supporting a hopeful, empowered approach to moving forward. Individuals featured in the film include individuals diagnosed with dementia, family members, physicians, nurses and researchers.
The film is 37 minutes with time for comments and questions afterward with Tiffany Schwasinger-Schmidt, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Center for Clinical Research.
What: Free screening of "Why," an Alzheimer's film event
When: 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8
Where: Roberts Amphitheater at KU School of Medicine-Wichita. Visitors may park in the visitor parking lot, 1001 N. Minneapolis, and enter through the Patient & Visitor entrance.
This event is sponsored by KU School of Medicine-Wichita in partnership with the KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at KU Medical Center.
