Upcoming Training Workshop: Ingenuity Pathways Analysis (IPA)
Date/Time: Jan 19, 2024, 09:00 AM to Jan 19, 2024, 02:00 PM
Location: Lied Auditorium, KU Medical Center Campus, 3901 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas.
QIAGEN Ingenuity Pathways Analysis (IPA) is a powerful piece of software that facilitates the comprehensive analysis of gene expression data, among other molecular data types, to infer the underlying causes of the observed fold-changes, predict downstream effects, and discover new targets of candidate biomarkers.
This half-day, interactive workshop will be delivered by Dr. Tim Hou, Field Application Scientist, QIAGEN Digital Insights. Attendees will learn the basics and some of the newest features of the IPA software, including how to: perform pathways analysis, compare expression between different groups (e.g., time-points, biological conditions, treatments, etc.), generate networks using genes, chemicals, and diseases of interest, how to compare your data to data in the public domain, and how to mine IPA’s rich database for novel discoveries.
What is the format of this workshop? This workshop will be a half-day, interactive workshop led by Dr. Tim Hou, Field Application Scientist, QIAGEN Digital Insights.
